A little bit about Togonogo

Togonogo is a collection of stories, insights and imagery meant to inspire our readers to get out and explore the world.  With a wide range of topics from tracking down the best spots for great shots in a city, hiking to long abandoned sites, exploring the street foods on offer, to just random tidbits, there’s something for everyone.

The site is meant to encourage exploration not just for the readers, but the writers as well. Travel is one of the easiest ways to grow, but all too often we get comfortable in our day to day routines and forget to get out and explore the world and all it has to offer. Thanks for being part of the experience.

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”

A little about me

Hi, I’m Rob, the creator of the site and main contributor to the content here on Togonogo.

I still call the city of Toronto in Canada my home, but have been living in Asia, primarily Taiwan since finishing up at university. The first few years in Asia, I was out and about, flying here and there, trying to soak up as much as I could, but over time settled into the standard grind of a job that had me sitting at a desk all day everyday. Togonogo came to be as a way to escape that life, even if only for a few days here and there, with the hope that as the site continues to grow, so will the opportunities to travel and share more.  Having always had a strong passion for both travel and photography, I made the site as a way to combine the two and share visually informative stories to my readers.
